Must be at least 21 years of age, have a SC govt-issued ID, and be able to pass SLED's Background Check upon course completion
Legals Only (LEO & Vet's with pistol qualification) is also available and doesn't require the range qual.

handgun 50-rounds of ammunition OWB side holster eye protection ear protection appropriate attire for shooting (closed-toe shoes, hat, etc)
Post Class (successful completion): Schedule appointment with local SLED office for processing and fingerprinting SLED Application fee of $50
